La crise grecque fut le point de départ de ce projet. Je trouve que le monde se détériore (économiquement, écologiquement et humainement) les valeurs se perdent au profit de l’individualisme et la Grèce en est l’exemple.

Ainsi la première vidéo montre la destruction sans état d’âme des soi-disant fondements de notre société. Et la deuxième vidéo est une métaphore d’une lutte déterminée, menée par une entité fragile n’ayant que sa candeur face à des forces invisibles et plus puissantes. Cette entité se relève toujours plus bas pour finalement tomber inanimée.

Vivant cette réalité, ce projet est très personnel et pour cette raison j’ai decide de faire une performance inspirée par la statue effervescente, qui se dissout. Cette fois c’est plutôt l’aspect humain qui est abordé.

The greek crisis was the starting point of this project. I find that the world is deteriorating (economically, ecologically and humanely) values ​​are lost in favour of individualism and Greece is the example.

So the first video shows the soulless destruction of the so-called foundations of our society, the statue of the Aphrodite of milo is self destructing until it is becoming nothing. And the second video is a metaphor for a determined struggle, led by a fragile entity with only its candor against invisible and more powerful forces. This entity always rises lower and lower until falling inanimate.

Living this reality, this project is very personal and for this reason I decided to make a performance inspired by the effervescent statue, which dissolve. This time it is rather the human aspect that is approached.
